CROP Walk to End Hunger

Every year on the third Sunday of October (October 16 this year) volunteers gather at the Barnstormers Stadium to begin the CROP Walk to aid hungry people around the world.

Some facts about hunger:

795 million people worldwide do not have enough food to lead a healthy, active life.

66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world.

Hunger kills more people every year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.

A program of Church World Service, 25% of the money raised by the annual CROP Walk goes to support the Lancaster County Council of Churches Food Bank. Once again, Carlos Schaudel will be walking and asking for your sponsorship. Sign up with Carlos in the Gathering Area.
