Please “Be an Angel!”
August heralds the final two weeks of the Be An Angel project for 2017. Please “be an angel” by donating school supplies and/or money to purchase uniforms by Sunday, August 13. Checks may be made payable to the Lancaster Church of the Brethren with a note on the memo line indicating Be An Angel or the Al and Lois Hansell Memorial Fund.
As of mid-July, a total of 746 uniforms have been purchased toward the goal of 1,000 school uniforms. In mid-August, members of the Seekers Fellowship group will deliver these uniforms and the donated school supplies to the School District of Lancaster for distribution to the homeless students (now referred to as students in transition).
Loving and helping neighbors in need is being a follower of Jesus. Help the children in transition in the School District of Lancaster by donating to the Be An Angel project.
