ANE District Conference

Atlantic Northeast District (ANE) Conference will be held Friday and Saturday, October 5-6, at Leffler Chapel and Performance Center on the campus of Elizabethtown College, 1 Alpha Drive, Elizabethtown, PA. Worship begins Friday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m. District Conference Moderator Misty Wintsch will be the preacher. A District-wide choir will sing. The theme of this year’s conference comes from Philippians 4:8: “Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

On Saturday, October 6, Bible study with moderator-elect Brian Berkey begins at 7:30 a.m. Gathering music and welcome follow at 8:15 a.m.

ANE Conference is an annual gathering of Church of the Brethren congregations, fellowships, and projects within the ANE District. District Conference offers an opportunity for fellowship, worship, and a chance to participate in important topics related to the district. The goal is to work together to create spiritually healthy congregations who covenant and network together to further the Kingdom of God.

Our District Conference delegates are: Cindy Harmes, Judi Hess, Bob Hess, Janet Groff, Jamie Nace, Doug Wiker, and Carlos Schaudel. You do not need to be a delegate to attend–anyone can attend!
