Cross Cultural Connections

On August 4 of this year, another successful Melting Pot Festival was held. The presence of our neighbors, friends from the community and many church members made this festival a great event. Numerous children and youth had a wonderful time as they enjoyed the barrel train rides, face painting, pony rides, house bouncing, and soccer games. In this event, we had delicious meals that were prepared by the different ethnic groups representing our church.

We also thank all who participated in the various singing and musical groups. Many people passed by and observed the displays that represented the various ministries within LCOB.

We had over 200 people in attendance. The reason for this initiative was to make our community aware of what God is doing through Lancaster Church of the Brethren locally and globally.

The Cross‐Cultural Connections Committee thanks all those whose time and effort made the festival a joyous experience. This committee was formed because of our church unification in 2015 when Maranatha Multicultural Fellowship and LCOB merged and became one congregation.
