Seeking First the Kingdom Discernment & Discipleship: Grounded and Growing in Christ

The plans have been in the making for well over a year, and all is in place for us to participate in our Spiritual Renewal Retreat on Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31. Keynote speaker Tara Hornbacker will speak at two worship events on Saturday and again in combined worship on Sunday. Seeking Sessions (breakout sessions) leaders Peggy Gish, Leonor Ochoa, Jamie Nace and Christina Bucher will be joined by Jennifer Biemiller in presenting an array of topics about Discernment & Discipleship.

All is in place, including preparation for the noon meal. (Thank you, George.) If needing nursery care, let us know; this too is provided. We ask that you pre-register to allow for proper room space, materials and food. There is no cost to attend. Have your registration to the church office by Monday, March 25. Walk-ins, please arrive before 10:00 a.m. on March 30 to register.

The Spiritual Renewal Committee is grateful to Jennifer Biemiller for agreeing to lead the Seeking Session on Spiritual Disciplines, replacing Nancy Fittery who is facing health issues. Jennifer is one of LCOB’s ordained ministers. Jen is a chaplain at the Lancaster Theological Seminary and a spiritual director in private practice.

Everything is ready and the only thing missing is you! Your financial support is also appreciated. For your convenience a patronage form and registration form are provided in this newsletter. Please be in prayer for this event and its presenters.
