Another Successful VBS!
God is God, and God is GOOD! God’s never-ending goodness was the theme for this year’s ROAR Safari VBS. Throughout the week, we taught, encouraged, nurtured, and loved 79 children from our church and surrounding community. What a blessing it was to be a part of this full and vibrant week! Bible stories, crafts, games, snack, and music were all part of the fun. We also raised $350 plus several boxes of supplies for Raven Ridge Wildlife Center, a local organization devoted to saving and rehabilitating wildlife. None of it would have been possible without our 36 adult and youth volunteers. They were amazing! We had such a great time that even a tornado warning during the week didn’t deter us from learning about God and God’s goodness. A ROAR-ing good time was had by all! To God, be the glory! Thanks to those of you who helped, donated food or blessed us with your prayers.
