Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

On Tuesday, June 12, David Brill, a community neighbor to LCOB, suffered a horrible injury after falling off a roof while working. David sustained a severe brain injury, and the extent of the damage to his brain is not yet known, but his prognosis is critical.
For now, we must wait and pray for David’s recovery, but we can help support the Brill family through this tragedy. David and his wife Traci are raising 3 boys age 16, 14, and 12. Their youngest is severely handicapped and requires 24-hour care. The Brills will be facing financial hardships as medical expenses continue to grow.
On Saturday, July 21, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. the Lancaster Church of the Brethren is hosting a spaghetti fundraiser dinner and silent auction to raise funds for the Brills. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the Brill family to help with medical and family living expenses.
How can you help?
> Monetary donations sent to LCOB write “Brill Family” on the memo line.
> Volunteers needed on July 21 for setup, food prep, food service, cleanup, and ticket sales (pks of 10 available to sell). There will be sign-up sheets in the Gathering Place and Heritage Center.
