33rd Wednesday Prayer Breakfast Celebration

Saturday, January 12, 2019
8:00 am

All are invited to the 33rd Anniversary Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, January 12, 2019. This Anniversary event is planned for a special day and time to allow those who would like to attend the regular midweek services the opportunity for a Saturday event at a later starting time.

A buffet breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. in the Family Life Center; a program of prayers, readings and a message by a guest speaker will follow from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Pamela A. Reist, Pastor at Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren will be the guest keynote speaker with a message entitled, Say A Little Prayer. Pam Reist was an educator prior to entering Lancaster Theological Seminary where she graduated in 2004. She served at the Lititz Church of the Brethren in several roles prior to the call in 2008 to be pastor of Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.

Those attending are encouraged to give thought to names of persons who should be included in our prayers due to difficult health or other life circumstances. An opportunity will be given to prepare prayer cards for delivery to those named in our prayers.

Reservations are encouraged and greatly appreciated for adequate, but not wasteful, preparation of the breakfast meal. Sign-up sheets are available in the Office, Gathering Place and Heritage Center. Or, if more convenient, call the church office at 717-397-4751.
