5:00 pm

Wednesday Night Live continues each Wednesday evening through November 19. We gather at 5:00 pm in the FLC for a tasty supper prepared by our volunteer staff. After the meal, you can participate in interesting classes taking place from 6:15 – 7:15 in Room 162-163.

On the first four Wednesdays in October, Bob Frick will continue his series titled Together They Made Lancaster Great. In his unique interactive and warmly humorous style, Bob introduces us to local people who made significant contributions that shaped our county, our state, and our nation. Topics in October include:

Oct. 22:
>C. Emlen Urban: Architect
>William Walton Griest: Congressman
>Andrew Jackson Steinman: Journalist

On October 29 we begin a 4-week PRAYER SEMINAR, led by Rev. Bob Vroon. Under the sponsorship of the Atlantic Northeast District Spiritual Renewal Team, Bob has been teaching this prayer seminar at many churches since 2007. The seminar will focus on the rationale and motivation for prayer as well as practical advice on how to strengthen your personal prayer life. The presentation will be a mixture of lecture/discussion and practical exercises. Handouts will be provided. Bob has served as pastor in various congregations for 35 years. The last three COB congregations he served before his retirement in 2013 were Hempfield, Wilmington, and West Greentree. He holds a D. Min. degree in spirituality from Fuller Theological Seminary. Come and stretch your spiritual life.

Wednesday evenings are truly alive at Lancaster Church of the Brethren.  We hope that you will come and join in the fun and fellowship.
