Spanish & English Class

7:00 pm

At this time of assimilation of members of the Maranatha group into the Lancaster CoB, we strive to seek improved ways of understanding each other better. Once again members and friends of our congregation have a unique opportunity to improve their skills in either Spanish or English. Volunteer students of Dr. Charla Lorenzen, Professor of Spanish at Elizabethtown College, will teach a class in Spanish. Simultaneously an English class will be taught for our Latino brothers and sisters. These classes will take place Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in room 162-163. The course will run from February 2 through April 27, with no class meeting on March 2.

Those who began studying English or Spanish this past fall are encouraged to attend. Others who want to improve their language skills are invited to join the classes as well. Everyone is welcome. Please contact Suzanne Schaudel with your questions and to sign up for the course. The classes will be taught gratis by college students who fulfill part of their course requirements by providing this service to the community.
