Pentecost Worship Service to Include Communion, Consecration

The congregation will worship in a combined blended service in the sanctuary on Pentecost Sunday, June 9, at 10:15 a.m. No other services will take place that Sunday morning.

The service will include communion and a consecration service for two groups from the church that will participate in June mission trips. A MEPA (Manos Extendidas Para Ayudar/Extended Hands That Help) team from Maranatha Fellowship will serve in the Dominican Republic. Also, members of the church youth group will serve on a work camp in Lexington County, South Carolina, through Next Step Ministry.

Musical highlights will include the collaboration of the Chancel Choir and Morning Psalm team on Old Church Choir, and a Mack Wilberg arrangement of Come, Thou Fount by the choir. Don Fitzkee will preach.
