Sunday Worship and Other Activities at Lancaster COB Are Canceled
After learning that at least 10 other Manheim Township congregations that we relate to through the local ministerium are cancelling services for Sunday due to health concerns and that all Pennsylvania K-12 schools will close beginning Monday, we have decided to change course from our earlier announcement and cancel all services and activities at Lancaster Church of the Brethren on Sunday, March 15.
The Tuesday trip to the Brethren Service Center and all Wednesday activities on March 18 also are cancelled. As previously announced, the Starlight Tea Concert on March 14 and the Seeking First the Kingdom event on March 21-22 is cancelled.
The church yard sale will be held on Saturday morning, March 14.
The church office will be open on Monday and the Church Board will meet on Tuesday, as planned, and will evaluate other church programs in light of current information. Due to the lateness of our decision to cancel worship, we will not be offering any online resources this Sunday. If subsequent Sunday services are cancelled, streamed or pre-recorded messages will be provided. Look to your email, church website, and church Facebook page for new information as it becomes available.
