CROP Hunger Walk
LCOB members will participate in the 52nd annual CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 20, beginning at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m., followed by a short program at 1:30 and a two-mile walk at 2:00.
Judi Hess takes the lead in walking and fundraising for this event. Needed are additional walkers and donors to sponsor Judi and others who walk. The event—one of many across the US—benefits the Lancaster Food Hub (25%) and hunger relief efforts of Church World Service around the world (75%).
