At 8:00 a.m., an informal worship service is held in the Chapel. This shorter service for early risers features a simple order of worship and singing of familiar hymns.
At 10:30 a.m., the Sanctuary service meets. This service features the choirs, pipe organ, hymns and choral music, and a more formal order of worship.
The November Starlight Tea Concert will provide an early taste of Christmas. Tracy Dietrich and Cindy Wittenberg, known as Silver, Wood & Ivory, will perform a Christmas concert on Saturday, November 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Dietrich and Wittenberg bill themselves as two women, 19 flutes and recorders, piano, Celtic harp, keyboards, and a whole lot of friendship. Dietrich takes care of the “silver and wood,” playing flutes and recorders ranging from primitive to sophisticated. Wittenberg is the “ivory” of the pair, playing piano, keyboard, and Celtic harp. Both are classically trained artists with instrumental performance degrees. Together they have recorded 17 CDs.
This free concert series is supported by patrons and free will offerings received at concerts. Tea and cookies will be served following the concert.
