Wednesday Night Live Resumes January 18

The Winter session of Wednesday Night Live gets underway on January 18 and continues for 10 Wednesdays through March 22. Each week begins with brief devotions and dinner at 5:30 p.m. The meal is by donation. The menu for the first four weeks includes ham loaf, 1/18; chicken & waffles, 1/25; hamburger stroganoff, 2/1; and sloppy joes, 2/8.
Activities for all ages will begin at 6:30. Children (age 4 through 5th grade) will go to Bible story and game or craft time with Pastor Misty and Bob and then to music class with Pastor Jamie. Spanish-speaking adults will join Pastor Selma for Bible Study with praise and worship in Room 170. English-speaking adults will go to either Bell Choir rehearsal or to the adult class in the Chapel.
In the Chapel class David Miron will lead a series “Enriched by Others: How Various Religious Traditions May Complement and Enrich Our Own Spiritual Journey.” David is Clergy & Congregation Care Consultant at Samaritan Counseling Center and brings a background in religious studies, including Jewish studies. He will explore Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, and Judaism.
