LCOB Supports COBYS Thru Bike & Hike
Lancaster COB donors played a huge part in a successful day for the COBYS Family Services Bike & Hike on September 10. Despite the threat of storms that canceled the motorcycle and bicycle rides, the event raised more than $127,000 for COBYS ministries. The day included a three-mile walk through Lititz (before the rains came), followed by a sundae bar.
LCOB members and friends contributed more than $15,000, sponsoring Floy, Don, & Carolyn Fitzkee. Top fundraisers for the event (pictured from left) were retiring COBYS Executive Director Mark Cunningham & his wife, Mari, $16,275; Floy Fitzkee, $10,315; Londa Brandt, $7,665; and Don & Carolyn (not pictured) Fitzkee, $9,380.
