Advent/Christmas to Focus on Birth & Rebirth
This Advent and Christmas season worship services will focus on Birth & Rebirth. Rather than the traditional themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love (most of which were topics in the recent Spirit Fruit series), this year during Advent we’ll reflect on the steps of bringing new life into the world: Conception, Preparation, Labor, and Birth. We may find that these steps apply to more than just having babies. Click here for a full description of the series, including themes, Scriptures, and candle lighting readings.
Here’s the short version:

Pastor Don will finish up the series on Christmas Eve with some thoughts on Rebirth. The Christmas Eve Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary and will include a retelling of the Christmas story in word and song and conclude with traditional candle lighting.
Pastor Don will finish out the year on Sunday, December 29, with some reflections on endings and beginnings in a combined service in the Sanctuary. More information to come on the Christmas Eve and December 29 services.
