Five Things to Know About LCOB Live Streaming

LCOB’s YouTube channel provides congregants and the public with a diverse collection of live and recorded worship services and events. It’s become a valuable online resource that’s particularly helpful when health, distance, inclement weather, or busy schedules keep one from attending church.

Here are five interesting things about LCOB’s YouTube channel:

Our channel features more than 500 videos. Nearly five years of Traditional and Contemporary worship services and sermons, pastoral devotions, Starlight Tea performances, and memorial services are housed on the channel.

If Sunday’s livestream doesn’t play, check back later. YouTube can be finicky, especially on Sunday mornings. If one of our livestreamed services doesn’t play, visit our YouTube channel later in the day. A back-up recording of the service will be posted to the YouTube channel.

The YouTube channel content is searchable. Locate the magnifying glass icon toward the upper half of the page to enter search. Looking for a particular Star Light Tea performer? Want to hear a past Easter sermon? The search box will help you find it.

Links to Sunday worship services are also found on the LCOB website. Each Saturday, we update the link to that Sunday’s worship service(s), which is posted at the bottom of the homepage. The links remain unchanged for the rest of the week, so you can easily catch what you missed. LCOB’s website also has a Media Center with links to previous services.

Additional volunteers are needed: A small but mighty team of volunteers ensures our worship services are broadcasted each week. If you’d like to help with this important ministry, or have suggestions for how the content can be improved, contact Bob Mackey, Scott Hufford, Tim Lester, or John Lines.
