Brethren Beliefs & Practices class

Saturday, March 1, 2025
9:00 am

Pastors will lead a Brethren Beliefs & Practices Class on Saturday, March 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in Room 162-3, with separate tracks in English and Spanish. The class is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the church and is especially for people interested in exploring membership in our congregation.

Topics include but are not limited to a brief introduction to Brethren history; ordinances including love feast, baptism, and anointing; our view of Scripture and important biblical themes; and an overview of how our congregation and denomination are structured to do God’s work. The day will conclude with lunch and a building tour.

About a dozen English speakers and a few Spanish speakers are signed up to participate, and there’s still room for a few more. Please contact Pastor Don Fitzkee at PastorDonF@lancob.org no later than Wednesday, February 19 if you would like to join the class.
