Lancaster Church of the Brethren

Lancaster Church of the Brethren (LCOB) seeks to practice Extravagant Generosity. In addition to meeting the ongoing needs of the church through the annual Plan of Ministry (budget), we support a variety of outreach ministries, both close to home and far away. Monthly Two Cents per Meal offerings feed hungry people locally through the Lancaster Food Hub and around the world through the Church of the Brethren Global Food Initiative. We aid victims of disaster through Brethren Disaster Ministries and assemble clean-up, hygiene, and school kits to help people in need. Currently we are seeking to raise $20,000 to build a sewing enterprise in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in partnership with New Community Project and Church of the Brethren congregations.

Checks should be payable to Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, PA  17601. Gifts to the church of appreciated stock and distributions from IRAs may have tax benefits for the donor and are a blessing to the church.
