There will be an emphasis on a canned food drive during the entire “Fruits of the Spirit” sermon series which began on September 9. As a way to reach new neighbors, all canned goods collected on September 9 will go to Peter’s Porch Food Pantry.
All food items collected from September 16 through the rest of the sermon series will go to the Lancaster County Council of Churches’ food bank.
All are invited to an all-church party on Friday, May 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Dubbed “Fiesta Friday,” the event will feature food, fun, and a few games for everyone! Food will be served from 5:30 to 6:30.
Activities will include piñatas for the children (6:00 p.m. for 5 and under and 6:30 for 6-10-year-olds), games like Loteria and Aplasta-Un-Topo (Whack-a-Mole), and fun for all ages including some small prizes! Kids can make themed crafts at the Craft Center too.
