Extravagant Giving!
The Outreach Ministry Team is pleased to report that our church collected and delivered 2,988 lbs. of food and 1054 lbs. of clothing to the Lancaster County Food Hub (LCFH) in 2019. Compared to 2018, our food donation decreased slightly, and there was an increase in our clothing donation.
In addition, we tracked the amount of our volunteering at three different organizations: LCFH, Water Street Ministries, and SERRV/CWS in New Windsor, MD. Collectively, volunteers from our congregation worked 2,418 hours at these facilities in 2019. This was a significant increase in volunteer hours from 2018, primarily because we made more trips to New Windsor.
Thanks to the volunteers who gave of their time and service, and thanks to everyone who donated food and clothing.
