Living Gift Market Raises $12,480 for Heifer International
Dear Friends,
Thank you for all that you have done to help make our 2023 Heifer Living Gift Market and Youth Bowl Auction a true success! Through your support, encouragement, and kindness, we have ensured that this 20-year tradition of giving continues to play an integral role in our outreach ministry program!
Throughout December, coins, small bills, and large checks were enthusiastically collected, as families honored loved ones with the gift of animals. All told, our church donated $12,480 to support Heifer International and to assist families in 19 countries, including the United States! In comparison, last year donations totaled $9,785. (See graphic for a list of donated animals.) After 20 years, our congregation has donated more than $153,000 to help people around the world to decrease hunger, poverty, conflict, disease, environmental destruction, and educational disadvantages.
