Weather permitting, planting for this year’s Youth Giveaway Garden will take place on Saturday, May 11, at 9:00 a.m. While the garden is a youth project, some additional help from the broader church is needed. Contact the church office via email, if you would like to help plant and mulch, and/or take an occasional turn this summer watering, weeding, and harvesting items from the garden.
All are invited to an all-church party on Friday, May 10, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Dubbed “Fiesta Friday,” the event will feature food, fun, and a few games for everyone! Food will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Activities will include piñatas for the children (6:00 p.m. for ages five and under, and 6:30 for six- to ten-year-olds), games like Loteria and Aplasta-Un-Topo (Whack-a-Mole), and fun for all ages including some small prizes! Kids can make themed crafts at the Craft Center too.
