Sermon Series to Focus on ‘Big Picture’
Following Easter, pastors will begin a sweeping sermon series that covers the long arc of the biblical story. Titled “The Big Picture,” the series will address key biblical events and themes from Genesis to Revelation. Topics, possible texts, and preachers are listed in the table below.
The Youth will focus on the topic of “Covenant” for the May 5 Youth Sunday, which will be a single combined service in the Worship & Event Center. Pastor Dave Stauffer and Jim Rhen will each take a turn preaching during the series.
On June 9, we’ll pause the series for Traditional Music Appreciation Sunday in the Sanctuary. That Sunday Pastor Don Fitzkee will provide a meditation in the Sanctuary service and Bob Wintsch will preach in the Chapel and Contemporary services. Prior to the start of the series, Matt Kramer will preach in all English services on April 7.
