Harpsichords are arriving, instruments are being tuned, and musicians are rehearsing for the November 13 Starlight Tea Concert in the church Sanctuary.

Held in conjunction with the Lancaster chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO), the Keyboard Connections concert will feature duos and trios on the organ, piano, and harpsichord. The free concert begins at 7:00 p.m. An offering will be received to support the Guild’s scholarship fund.

Guild organists will perform segments of Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” on two grand pianos and organ, J.S. Bach’s “Concerto for Three Harpsichords,” and other masterworks by Haydn, Poulenc, Guilmant, Ravel, Wagner, Gounod, and more.

Local musicians performing include our own Margaret Marsch, Patricia Bleecker, Frank Dodd, Ross Ellison, Greg Gehman, John & Lisa Huber, Jonathan Humbert, Kyle Postlethwait, and John Zielinski, along with former and present AGO scholarship recipients Johnny Adkins, Peter Hasse, Genevieve Hash, and Faith Martin.

You can find a copy of the program here.

We are planning to live stream this concert for those unable to attend in person.  You can visit our YouTube live stream here.
